Smoothies are extremely beneficial and nutritional which is why they are a great way to lose weight. But having same old smoothie everyday can make losing weight too boring which is why we have compiled a few interesting smoothie recipes which have goodness of oats:

1)     Berries and oats smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Frozen cherries- ½ cup

·       Frozen banana- 1

·       Orange juice- ½ cup

·       Unsweetened almond milk- ½ cup

·       Chopped spinach- ½ cup

·       Oatmeal- ¼ cup

·       Greek yogurt- ¼ cup

·       Walnuts- handful

Directions:

·       Put everything in a blender and blend until you get a smooth consstency

·       Pour into a large serving glass

·       Top it with oats and walnut pieces

2)     Chocolate oatmeal smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Rolled oats- ½ cup

·       Almond butter- 1 tbsp

·       Cocoa powder- 2 tbsp

·       Vanilla almond milk- 1 cup

·       Maple syrup- 1 tbsp

·       Vanilla extract – ½ tsp

Directions:

·       Toss everything in a blender

·       Blend until you get a smooth consistency

·       Pour in a tall serving glass

·       Sprinkle some chocolate chips

·       Serve

3)     Pineapple smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Oatmeal – ¼ cup

·       Coconut milk- 1 cup

·       Yogurt- ¼ cup

·       Frozen pineapple- 1 cup

·       Honey- 1 tsp

·       Vanilla extract- 1/3 tsp

Directions:

·       Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend to get a smooth consistency

·       Pour into a tall serving glass

·       Drizzle some honey over the smoothie

·       Serve

4)     Banana oatmeal smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Oatmeal- ½ cup

·       Frozen bananas- 2

·       Almond milk- 1 cup

·       Greek yogurt- ½ cup

·       Cinnamon- 1/8 tsp

·       Nutmeg- pinch

·       Salt- a pinch

·       Peanut butter- 1 spoon

·       Maple syrup- 1 tsp

·       Walnuts- optional

Directions:

·       Toss all the ingredients in a blender

·       Blend until smooth

·       Pour it into a talk serving glass

·       Top it with chopped walnuts

·       Serve

5)     Cinnamon oatmeal smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Oatmeal- ½ cup

·       Cinnamon- ½ tsp

·       Apple- 1 peeled and cored

·       Vanilla almond milk- 1 cup

·       2 dates- pitted

Directions:

·       Toss all ingredients into the blender

·       Blend until smooth

·       Chill for a few minutes

·       Blend again and pour into a tall serving glass

·       Serve

6)     Banana peanut butter smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Oatmeal- ¼ cup

·       Chopped cashews- ½ cup

·       Almond milk- 2 cups

·       Peanut butter- 2 tbsp

·       Frozen banana- 1

·       Cinnamon- ½ tsp

·       Honey- 2 tbsp

·       Flaxseed- 1 tbsp

Directions:

·       In a blender toss all the ingredients

·       Blend until you have reached a smooth consistency

·       Pour in a tall serving glass

·       Serve

7)     Peach and oat smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Ripe peaches (de-seeded)-2

·       Chia seeds- 1 tbsp

·       Rolled oats- ¼ cup

·       Frozen banana- ½

·       Fresh orange juice- ¼ cup

·       Unsweetened almond milk- ½ cup

·       Honey- 1 tbsp

Directions:

·       In a blender, toss all the ingredient and let it sit for 5-10 minutes

·       Now blend until smooth

·       You can add a banana or some almond milk to thicken or thin the consistency respectively

·       Pour in a tall serving glass

·       Serve immediately

8)     Hot chocolate smoothie

Ingredients:

·       Vanilla almond milk- 1 ¼ cup

·       Nut butter- 1 tbsp

·       Maple syrup- 1 tbsp

·       Rolled oats- ½ cup

·       Unsweetened cocoa powder- 2 tbsp

·       Vanilla extract – ½ tsp

Directions:

·       Pour all the ingredients in a blender and let the ingredients sit for 3 hours or overnight

·       Now blend on high until you get a smooth creamy consistency

·       Now transfer the smoothie in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to boil

·       You may a little almond milk if the smoothie is too thick

·       Transfer the smoothie in a cup and enjoy
