1) Sonam Kapoor Ahuja
The ‘Style Icon’ of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor Ahuja weighed a staggering 86 kilos when she signed her first movie Saawariya. The actor lost 36 kilos to fit into the role and has been working hard ever since then to stay lean and fit.
The actor begins her day with a 30 min jog followed by meditation and workouts and loves to go for swimming and dancing to burn some more calories.
The actor says “Yeah, looking at my figure people often assume that I don’t eat much. On the contrary, I eat every two hours. Since my day is packed with strenuous physical activity- shooting, swimming or dancing- I never allow myself to go hungry for too long. If I feel peckish, I snack on nuts and dry fruits.”
“I avoid weights since I am broad-built and I mostly do a combination of Bikram yoga and Pilates. I also eat every two hours and cut off carbs after 6pm.“
2) Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra stunned us with her weight loss journey. She has worked really hard in the gym to lose the extra flab and has been working out ever since then to look fit. The actor loves to meditate, yoga and swim.
The actor confessed ““I gave up pizza! It’s my first love. I can let go of anything but not pizza. But I didn’t have a choice.”

Bhumi wanted to be an actress ever since her childhood and while many want to make their debut in the film industry with glamorous roles Bhumi decided to shut the stereotypes with a de-glamourized and unconventional role where she had to put on oodles of weight and look plump and received a lot of acclaim for Dum laga k haisha. But once the shoot was over she knew she had to lose a lot of weight. She replaced all the oily, junk food with ghar ka khana andhad lots of green tea and kale juice. She starts her day with a morning walk and a gymming session where she does 15 minutes of cardio and 40 minutes of weight train
Bhumi says “My weight has never been an issue in my life. I don’t think it is a big thing. I’m comfortable with the way I look. Even when I was almost 90 kgs, I thought I looked beautiful. I feel if you think you are beautiful, it will show on your face. It is the state of mind. I’d say it is good to be healthy.”
